NATHALIE DESCHAMPS- HEAD CHEF

I took culinary at Algonquin in 2010  because it was something I was good at. I've been cooking with my family all my life; it's where I learned how to cook. Cooking for people is my passion. I enjoy making people happy with the food that I create.

I have worked at both high end restaurants to working in retirement homes. I traveled to Bermuda to learn their style of cooking and way of life. Throughout my career so far I have tried to broaden my skills by training in all different areas of cooking. My love for food comes out in each dish I create. 

 

Landing here at the Juke has been the easiest thing for me. This restaurant is not just a job for me; we're a family and who we are together make us the restaurant that we are today.

I read recipes the same way that I read science fiction- I get to the end and think "well that's not going to happen!"  I add my own flair and give every recipe my love.
